{my new sewing room}

Hi friends! Happy Tuesday! It's cloudy here today and all I want to do is curl up with my Kindle and finish my book...but I have tons of housework and sewing for next week's boutique to do. Boo. Such is life.

Okay, so on a whim a few weeks ago I decided to move my sewing room from the home office to our guest room. Last year I had redone the space in the office. You can read all about that HERE and HERE. Now that I am in the guest bedroom, I want to change EVERYTHING of course! Let me show you around and tell you all about my plans...

I want to cover Dolly with some pretty fabric, but I have no idea how to even go about that?!?! The vanity was a gift for my 16th birthday. It's screaming for a makeover! New paint, drawer pull, and covering the stool {not pictured} are on the to do list. See those curtains covering the closet? Yeah, those were my first sewing project EVER and made about 8 years ago. Not cute y'all. I'll be making new ones for sure!

Not a whole lot will change here. I do want to paint the room though. Maybe a soft gray. And add more hoop art. And cover the big ironing board.

The desk will all stay the same, but I have big ideas to change up the inspiration board. Like the sewing machine cover? I did a tutorial for it HERE.

Like I said, this is still our guest bedroom, so there is a big bed in there too. I plan on getting new bedding, making a quilt and some fun pillow covers. I also want to make a headboard and make a valance for the window. I will repaint the mirror and makeover the makeshift TV tray/nightstand too.

I have no idea when I will have time to do all this, but it's fun to dream right! Stay tuned for sewing room updates! I'll be sure to blog my progress.
