I’ve been finishing up my custom orders for the month. Ever wonder how I do custom orders? Well, I limit myself to 3-4 per month. Otherwise they take too much time away from my ready to ship item schedule. So if you ever want to place a custom order…get it in towards the first of the month :) Here are the orders I’ve been working on…
Checkbook Cover for a friend from church
Ruffley Tote for Dolce Vita Mia…I BIG FAT PUFFY HEART how this came out! You might be seeing them in the shop soon!
St. Patty’s Day Shabby Blossom Hairclips for some sweet little girls!
Tissue box cover {Amy Butler Pattern} for another church friend.
Once I finish up these orders I will start working on my very fist wholesale order! Yep, you read that right…Sew Chatty goodness will now be available at a local {Orange County, CA} handmade and vintage shop! I am beyond excited about this endeavor! This first order will include Patchwork Coasters and Dishtowels, Burlap Market Totes, Coffee Cuffs, and Covered Notebooks. More details on the shop opening soon!
Lastly, I am teaching myself to crochet. My son has occupational therapy appointments during the week that leave me sitting in a waiting room for an hour at a time…so why not keep myself busy! My friend is an awesome crocheter and she came over on Sunday to refresh my memory on some of the basics. Look what I made…
It’s a crocheted cookie :) Now I want cookies. Real Ones. I decided my first official project is going to be a cowl. I love this pattern. You can find it here.
Hope mine comes out okay! Here’s what I have so far…

I love the fabric you used on the checkbook cover...so nice. I also love your blossom hair clips. Sewing has always been one of my biggest challenges, so I love to see the creations of someone who does it so well. Your crocheting seems to be going well too--and that is one thing I could never master. LOL
